For an arrangement of different sizes, start with a strong horizontal object as an anchor. Create a framework for the design by mimicking the lines of the staircase to produce a diagonal edge. Avoid too much blank space between prints, to keep the composition cohesive. Strive for similar spacing on either side of a given object.
